I'm Marisa, the woman behind Personalized Sugar by Marisa. I am a self taught cookie artist, (Cookier),  and have been doing this on and off since 2015.  I started my cookie journey back when I got a KitchenAid stand mixer for my birthday and decided to whip up some sugar cookies. Back then, I only decorated cookies for family and friends.  I then put cookies on the back burner once I became pregnant with my daughter. Fast forward to February of 2020 when I made decorated sugar cookies for my nurses in radiation (Breast Cancer Fighter/Survivor!), and they insisted I should sell them.  I prepared to sell hundreds of cookies at the hospital the week before Easter and that's when Covid-19 hit.  So I had all these cookies made and decided to go to my Facebook Community to sell.  It was a huge success and I haven't looked back!
